for my sisters

Charlotte Free taken by Terry Richardson

rockabilly girls

everything about this picture works for me. The semi smiles, the poses, the attitudes, it all shows through. They are just the old crowd going out on the town. Love it.

I found it on this guy's blog.

Karla Read

This female photographer got her start in Argentina. She reminds me of a modern day Gertrude Käsebier. She evkes the intensity that a female form can bring to the camera. In the following picture, her model is a perfect example of the female strength and vulnerability that all women posses within. I have placed a few links at the bottom if you want to find out more about her and her work.

Johnny Depp and Miss Kate Moss

so cute. However, More important is the fact that it was taken in a great way. The lower camera angle makes them seem more life-like and vulnerable. It was also photographer's luck, or talent, that caught them in a moment of serene-ness (spelling?). For me, what makes it a picture to keep is that it is in black and white, creating this clean and simple image of two people content with each other.

I really like these pictures of glitter, they are very nice to look at and very well set up. I am not really in the mood to describe the technicalities, so you go ahead and figure out for yourself why glitter is the most bad ass thing in the world.

i love you wild fox

some more bathtub pics....they look like they are having so much fun!!

There is something so simple and light about this picture. Its only two spots of really bright color, the shorts and the rubber bunny. I like looking at it and it makes me want to take a picture in my bathtub...even though that may not be the best idea.

Having some fun

I love it when you see the a little bit of someone's soul come out in a picture. In these three pics, I see that happening.

ballerina project

So this guy, he takes pictures of professional ballerinas in and around big cities - NYC, chicago, Philadelphia, etc.  click here to go to his tumblr page. Here are a few of my faves:

All photography rights go to Dane Shitagi, pretty much my idol for doing something like this. Absolutely fabulous in every way. I cant stop smiling right now.

Been a while - Liz Taylor tribute

This woman was amazing, fabulous, talented, steadfast, and so many other things. As seen from these pictures, not only was she beautiful in the most raw sense, she was also versatile, you can tell from her eyes - each picture evokes something different.

She was one of my idols,

Marchesa gown

I just love this dress, its artificiality, it seems like a drawing brought to life. I love the structure and colors used, plus the material just brings it all together. When the designer was interviewed, she said she was inspired by the fairy tale princesses, but the darker and edgier real life kind of princess stories. I really can't see that in this dress, but I can see that it is like a mixture of a cubist piece of work and a animated cartoon. I dont know what I am talking about really, but that is what I see anyways.
Marchesa gown by Georgina Chapman 2009 I think?
